by paul from cleveland ini read this forum on my phone so occasionally, as i'm scrolling down the page, i accidentally touch the 'dislike' button on a comment.

Once I touch the button, I can't change it. I don't know if it works differently on other browsers but that's how it works on this phone.
So if your comment received a 'dislike' don't feel bad. It may have just been me by mistake.
Sorry about that.

Born to Be Conned - The New York Times
by paul from cleveland inborn to be conned - new york times.
when people want to believe what they want to believe, david sullivan, a professional cult infiltrator, told the commonwealth club of california, a public affairs forum, in july 2010, they are very hard to dissuade.
and the reason it happens (and often happens to the most intelligent people) is that human nature is wired toward creating meaning out of meaninglessness..

You're welcome Oubliette. I especially liked this quote:
Nobody thinks they are joining a cult, David Sullivan explains. “They join a group that’s going to promote peace and freedom throughout the world or that’s going to save animals, or they’re going to help orphans or something. But nobody joins a cult.” We don’t knowingly embraces false beliefs. We embrace something we think is as true as it gets.

A quick Google search for nora777 came up with the username for a Muslim woman in Brooklyn. Maybe this is in response to Operation ISIS by Anonymous this Friday?

Changes to reporting
by Formerbrother inso it seems placing literature is not so important anymore, now that we live in a digital age.. we are being pushed to show videos instead.
this is the new reporting from next month, just hrs and any literature placed in one box and then how many videos you showed in another box.. bib changes for sure..

Can they download these videos or do they have to stream them and use mobile data at the door? If required to use mobile data, it could get expensive if you're a family head with a wife and several children. All of you need smart phones or tablets and a larger data plan. -

How do you overcome SHUNNING after leaving the organization and move on?
by suavojr init amazes me how many of you have left it all behind, including family, brothers and sisters, friends and a full network of people.
i for one cannot find the courage to breakaway, and this causes me great anxiety and stress.
it eats me alive to think that if i open my mouth everyone i know will simply turn their back on me.
